Ladies and Gentlemen, I did yet another evil... thing! It started when I was bored and doomscrolling because the algorithm has an honestly scary ability to grab ahold of my dopamine–deprived brain, and I came across a clip of an old movie that I saw a long time ago. It was a kind of terrible movie in retrospect, but it did have decent humor. Such as poking fun at coffee snobs! In the movie, a man orders a coffee that is rather absurdly complicated, and the list is just relatively long to say. I decided that it twas the perfect coffee to order for my next StarBucks excursion.
The order was a double venti organic chocolate brownie, caramel cappuccino, extra hot with 1 inch of foam. Non-fat. The people I was with refused to order it in the drive through so I had to go inside to order... I don't think it's mentioned anywhere on the site but I do have bad social anxiety so it was scary!
The guy who took the order looked confused when I first ordered, so I just showed him my phone. After some thinking, he asked some questions of preference and went to work. It took longer than the other drinks, I just sat around waiting until he finished, and when he did he called my up to the counter and did ask me to try. I took a small sip and said it tasted good, (which he seemed to like, but I sorta lied as it burned my tongue and I couldn't taste it at all.) He also offered to completely remake the coffee if it didn't meet my standards. (I assume he thought I was a coffee connoisseur.) Thankfully, later I did try it when it cooled down, and it tasted pretty good! It's a more mellow kinda nutty flavor, quite nice to drink while reading. Overall, it was a fun experience, and now I gotta think of what to order next, as I love giving staff a hard time.
